The trees you plant capture CO2. We fund them and are working towards a route to carbon credits, so the contribution becomes verifiable over time. Your name stands by the trees. That way you show clients and your own team that you genuinely support nature and climate, with images and figures instead of a vague promise.

The fee for the day keeps the sanctuary running: feed, the vet, straw, a fence that needs mending. Thanks to our ANBI status your contribution goes to the animals and the land, and you can book the day as a business expense.

Your team plants them
On the day you plant the trees with your own hands, among the animals, with a plant-based lunch from the land. Those who want to can stay overnight at a nearby location. Each tree gets a sign in your name.

Two horses, free on the land
They lived for years without care in the French countryside. Not tame, not easy. No sanctuary would take them. Angelique brought them in. Now they graze freely on the land, every day.
The oldest horse at the sanctuary
Amigo takes it easy on his own meadow. He has nothing left to prove here. He eats, he stands in the sun, he is here. That is enough.
Roosters that simply get to live
Roosters lay no eggs, so in the industry they go to slaughter. Here twenty-two of them live. They crow, they scratch around, they stand on the roof at sunrise.
Nothing goes to waste
The horses feed on the trees on the land. Their manure feeds the vegetable garden. The garden feeds the people who work here. The kitchen scraps go to the chickens. The chickens lay eggs that we share with the neighbourhood.
One woman, 25 years of holding on
Twenty-five years ago Angelique took in her first horse, a discarded racehorse that nobody wanted any more. In the Netherlands she went on to take in more than 35 horses, plus dogs, cats and other animals. In 2022 she moved to France, to a place with enough land to do it properly.
No team, no salary, no days off.
A day of planting trees can quickly sound like green window dressing. Not here. The foundation has existed for more than ten years and ran all that time without subsidy or fund, paid for by Angelique herself for years. The trees you plant go onto real land, among real animals, and they stay.
